This painting is another of the cold wax mixed media variety incorporating navigation maps of the Guld of Maine.  This series of work was created as a reaction to the climate emergency we find ourselves living in.  It's my way to bring some beauty to an ugly situation caused by burning fossil fuels.  Although it looks like there is a pink margin around it, it's not part of the painting itself.
